Where is Twisted Oaks Studio based and where do you photograph weddings?
Twisted Oaks Studio is a wedding photography studio based in South Jersey, near Philadelphia. I photograph weddings throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and travel for destination weddings worldwide.
Who will photograph our wedding?
I do. I'm Jay Cassario, the owner of Twisted Oaks Studio, and I photograph every wedding myself. You will know exactly who is behind the camera before you book.
What is your photography style?
Documentary and editorial. I direct as little as possible, so portraits feel natural and the day is told as it unfolded. My philosophy: nothing forced, nothing fake, just honest stories, beautifully documented.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement photography is offered alongside wedding collections, and it is a relaxed way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day.
Do you shoot film?
Yes. I'm a film photographer as well as a digital one, and I offer film photography for weddings and engagement sessions. Film is available as an add-on to any wedding collection or engagement session, alongside your digital coverage, for portraits and moments with that timeless, true-to-life film look. Just let me know you're interested when we talk about your day.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I photograph weddings throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and destination weddings worldwide. There's no travel fee for venues within an hour's drive of my home base in Waterford Works, NJ. For venues farther than that, the travel fee is $200. For destination weddings, travel is quoted based on the location.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book me 1 to 3 years in advance. Peak-season Saturdays tend to book first, so inquire as soon as you have a date and venue.
How much does wedding photography cost?
Wedding collections start at $5,200. Every collection is custom tailored to your needs: everything you want, and nothing more. Tell me about your day and I'll put together a collection that fits it.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes. Sandi, my studio manager, designs your heirloom album with you, and prints are available too, so your photographs live off the screen.
